Mark Dever

A Duke University graduate, Mark holds an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a ThM from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Cambridge University. He has served on pastoral staff at four churches, including a Massachusetts church plant. Mark is an international teacher and speaker and has authored many books, including What Is a Healthy Church?. Mark and his wife, Connie, live on Capitol Hill and have two grown children.

Stephen received his MDiv and ThM at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his PhD from the University of St. Andrews. He teaches New Testament studies at Gordon-Conwell, serves as a council member with The Gospel Coalition, is associate training director for Redeemer City to City, and is co-author of the recently published Why Cities Matter. Stephen and his wife reside in Boston and have three children.

Before moving to Louisville in 2008, Jim served as assistant professor of biblical studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and preaching pastor at Baptist Church of the Redeemer, Houston. He earned his ThM at Dallas Theological Seminary and his PhD at Southern. He is the author of numerous books and articles, including What Is Biblical Theology? and God’s Glory in Salvation through Judgment. Jim and his wife, Jill, have four children.

Wes planted Christ Memorial Church in 1992. In 2000, NETS was formed to further the church planting vision of that church. Through NETS, Christ Memorial has planted six new churches, with two more on the runway. Wes has an MAR from Westminster Theological Seminary and an MTh from the University of Wales, and has taught at Westminster, Redeemer Seminary and Wales Evangelical School of Theology. He and his wife, Sue, have five children and two grandchildren.

In 2006, Chris and his wife, Brandi, moved to Vermont to enter The NETS Institute for Church Planting Residency Program. In 2009, he launched Redeemer Fellowship Church in Watertown. Chris has an MDiv from Southwestern Seminary and a PhD from Southern Seminary. He is the author of That You May Know: Assurance of Salvation in 1 John. Married since 2000, he and Brandi have five children.

After over 20 years in youth and pastoral ministry, Craig moved to New England in 2003 to help plant Redeeming Grace Church in Vermont. In 2010, NETS hired him as their preaching mentor. Craig has an MAR and MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary, where he is currently completing his DMin in preaching. He and his wife, Betsy, have been married for nearly 25 years and have five children.

In 2003, Curtis launched Hope Fellowship Church. A church-planting church from the start, Hope Fellowship launched a new site in Brookline, MA, in 2007, in an effort to reach an area largely void of evangelical churches. Curtis enjoys time with his wife, Brandy; coaching their two children in Little League; and a good cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.

Formerly an associate editor for Christianity Today magazine, Collin is the author of Young, Restless, Reformed: A Journalist’s Journey with the New Calvinists and co-author with John Woodbridge of A God-Sized Vision: Revival Stories that Stretch and Stir. Collin earned an MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and an undergraduate degree in journalism and history from Northwestern University.

Todd Murphy

Todd is the senior pastor and church planter of Sacred Journey Church, affiliated with Acts 29. He is an accomplished Bible teacher with a BA in biblical studies and MA in Hebrew Bible studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has also taught biblical studies for the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Western Kentucky University, and is the author of the Pocket Dictionary for the Study of Biblical Hebrew (InterVarsity Press, 2003). Todd lives with his beautiful wife Christine and their six healthy boys in a suburb of Providence.

Sue has a lifetime of experience ministering the gospel and developing gospel ministries for women, including over 20 years as a church planter’s wife. For the past 15 years, she has helped equip women to love their husbands, families and churches while living out the realities of church planting. Married to Wes Pastor for over 30 years, Sue is the mother of five and grandmother of two.

In 1996, Mark planted Providence Church in Pittsburgh, where he served as senior pastor until 2002. He is former director for the Sovereign Grace Ministries Church Planting Group and was recently appointed executive director of Sovereign Grace Ministries. Mark and his wife, Jill, have three married daughters and a growing number of grandchildren. They make their home in West Chester, PA.

Jeramie Rinne grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Wheaton College, Illinois, in 1993 with a BA in Bible and ancient languages. He received his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1996, and became senior pastor of South Shore Baptist Church the following year. Jeramie and his wife, Jennie, have four children.

Owen is former managing director of the Carl F. H. Henry Center for Theological Understanding at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and founding associate director of the Jonathan Edwards Center there. He has co-authored several books, including The Essential Edwards Collection with Douglas Sweeney. Owen has an MDiv from Southern Seminary and a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Bethany, have two children.

In 2000, Don launched Christ Redeemer Church, the first NETS church plant. The congregation has nearly 400 and the church has a solid relationship with nearby Dartmouth College, including being instrumental in launching Apologia: A Journal of Christian Thought, now an influential organization across campuses nationwide. Don has a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Dori, have four children.
